Dealing with a difficult boss is not easy, especially if his behavior starts to affect our work and conditions every day. The first step that I think is important is to differentiate between bosses who are strict and bosses who actually have unhealthy behavior. A boss who criticizes work is not necessarily toxic. Problems become more serious when there is repeated insults, intimidation, unfair treatment, manipulation, or behavior that makes the work environment professionally unsafe. If the situation can still be controlled, try to keep communication calm and focused on work, not attacking your boss's personal character.
Also keep notes about assignments, instructions, decision changes, and important issues that occur, especially if communications change frequently. Documentation can help when misunderstandings occur and serve as evidence if problems need to be brought to HR or other authorities at the company. Don't immediately respond to bad behavior with emotion because that can actually make our position worse. If you have tried various methods but the environment is still unhealthy and starting to seriously interfere with your life, looking for other work opportunities is not a failure. In my opinion, staying in a job does require resilience, but defending yourself from an environment that continues to damage you is also a form of mature career decision.
