Sometimes Silence Is the Best Way to Understand Life

There are times when we talk too much just because we want to explain what we really feel. We want everyone to understand our reasons, understand our decisions, and know that we are not as bad as they think. But as I get older, I start to understand that not everything has to be explained to everyone. There are situations that actually become clearer when we choose to be silent and give ourselves time. Silence does not always mean giving up or not having the courage. Sometimes silence is a way to avoid making decisions based solely on emotions. When our hearts are full, we often say things that we later regret. Therefore, taking a short distance can be a much wiser choice. In silence, we can hear our own thoughts without too much influence from others. We can differentiate between what we really want and what we only do because we are afraid of losing someone or afraid of being seen as a failure. Not all debates have to be won and not all misunderstandings have to be resolved immediately that day. Sometimes time and calm actually provide answers that we can't find when our minds are noisy.
