The National Command of the West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB-OPM) through the General Operations Commander Major General Lekagak Telenggen issued an official statement on Sunday (26/7/2026), establishing a Wanted List (DPO) along with the threat of execution against a number of groups.

This statement was made following the handling of three people suspected of being intelligence agents in Yahukimo on 20-21 July.

In his press release, Lekagak Telenggen emphasized that the actions taken in Yahukimo were steps in accordance with battlefield conditions.

"We warn all elements of society not to get involved in spying for the authorities, as well as the executive, legislative and judicial ranks who are seen as extending the power of the central government are our main targets," he said.

This action is said to be a strong warning so that no more citizens will provide information that endangers the existence of their troops.

His party also highlighted the presence of thousands of security officers in various sectors, including educators, health workers, and social programs which were seen as a means of recruiting informants.

"We will not hesitate to take firm steps against anyone who is proven to have reported the position and movements of our troops. The situation on the ground is only known to the troops who are directly there," he added.

TPNPB also emphasized that if there are parties who feel they have been disadvantaged, their demands should be submitted to the central government.

Apart from that, TPNPB reminds all Papuan people that the struggle being carried out is solely aimed at restoring the nation's independence.

Therefore, any citizen who is seen as siding with the authorities or being an extension of central power will be seen as detrimental to the struggle.

"The Red and White Front from the highest level to the lowest is the priority for action before we face military force directly," emphasized the statement.

This statement sparked widespread concern among the public and government officials.

The community hopes that no harm will befall civilians who do not understand the situation, and asks all parties to exercise restraint so as not to make the situation worse.
