If I may share my opinion, one of the mistakes most often made when starting a business is wanting everything to be perfect straight away. As a result, a lot of time is spent fixing small things, while the product itself has never really been tried on the market.
I often see people busy thinking about logos, packaging, brand names, and even social media colors for months. All of that is important, but customers usually care more about whether the products we sell can really help solve their problems or not.
Fear of Receiving Criticism from Customers
Another mistake that occurs quite often is being afraid of receiving criticism. In fact, input from customers can actually be very valuable evaluation material. Not all criticism needs to be followed, but listening to what customers feel can help us know which parts still need improvement.
In my opinion, a business that continues to grow is a business that doesn't stop learning. The owner is willing to try new strategies, see what competitors are doing, follow changes in consumer behavior, and is not ashamed to admit that a decision was not right. The business world is always changing, so our way of thinking must also evolve.
I also want to remind you that business growth is not always visible from the number of followers on social media. What is much more important is whether customers return to buy, whether profits continue to grow, and whether the business is able to survive in the long term. These numbers actually better reflect the health of a business.
So, if your business is not currently growing as fast as expected, don't immediately blame the product or market conditions. Try evaluating the process again from start to finish. Sometimes small changes in the way we serve customers, manage finances, or market products can actually produce much bigger results than we imagine.See More
