No Investors, No Team: Fyn Chilli Builds Zoyalink Alone
When you hear the word "startup" what you imagine is usually a cool office, an IT team of dozens of people, and investors pouring in billions. Zoyalink is different. Who was Fyn Chilli before Zoyalink
Fyn Chilli is an ordinary creator from West Java. His day job is as a private employee. In the evening, create content. His diploma is middle school. Never studied IT. I can't even code.
The problem started to appear when he was creating content but couldn't get anything. Not because his work is bad. But because the platform he uses has complicated monetization requirements. January 2025 will be a turning point. Fyn is tired. He thought, "instead of waiting for other platforms to change, I'd better make my own". The idea for Zoyalink was born from there. The concept is simple: social media that immediately pays for every valid view without the requirement of followers.
The problem is that Fyn doesn't have anything. No teammates. There are no investor connections. There are no mentors. There is only annoyance with an unfair system.
3 Months Build Zoyalink Alone Using Cellphone
Fyn continues to work during the day as a private employee. The salary is for daily living. But that night he converted his cellphone into a "laptop". Learn HTML, CSS, backend, database, all self-taught. Watch YouTube tutorials, read forums, trial and error until dawn.
He set aside 3 months' salary. Not for hanging out. But to pay for hosting, storage, Zoyalink domain. All of Zoyalink's initial infrastructure was financed from Fyn's personal pockets. The total is not billions. But for private employees, that's reckless.
He does all the roles alone. Be a programmer, be a designer, be a server admin, be a CS. If there is a bug, Fyn will fix it. If someone asks via admin@zoyalink.com, Fyn will also reply. There is no support team.
Why Not Look For Investors First?
Fyn deliberately didn't look for investors at the start. The reason is simple. He didn't want Zoyalink's vision to be distorted. Many platforms have become complicated because they have to comply with investors' wishes. Chasing quick profits ends up creating strange conditions for creators.
Fyn wants Zoyalink to stick to its initial principles: Zero Fees, no conditions, every valid view is paid. If there had been investors from the start, he was afraid he wouldn't be able to maintain those principles. That's why he chose the hard way: bootstrapping his own capital.
April 2025: Zoyalink Launches Without Hype Team
After 3 months of coding alone, Zoyalink officially launched in April 2025. There was no big launch. There is no marketing team. Fyn only uploads to Zoyalink Official Facebook and word of mouth.
The first version of Zoyalink was deliberately made super simple. You can only upload paid images. There are no like, follow, comment features. Fyn focuses on fixing one thing: making sure the pay view system is valid and runs without bugs. Because he worked alone, he didn't want to take the risk that most feature releases would continue to fall apart.
Fyn has handled everything until now

For him, this risk is worth it. Because by doing it himself, he knows exactly what the creator needs. There is no miscommunication between the product team and users. Input from the creator can be immediately executed into a feature.
What Fyn Chilli Says About Waking Up Alone
Fyn often says this: "I'm not a smart person. I have a junior high school diploma, I don't have any capital. But I know what it's like to not be appreciated. So I just learn. There's a lot on YouTube, a lot on Google. The important thing is to start."
He proved that background is not an excuse. Not having a team doesn't mean you can't run. As long as you know the problem, are willing to learn, and are consistent, a platform like Zoyalink can be built.
Fyn's message for those who want to start something: don't wait for the complete team. Waiting for investors. Waiting for perfection. If you keep waiting, your idea will quickly become stale. Just do the work first using what you have. Then walk while you fix it.
