The event opened to the public on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at ICE BSD City in Tangerang and will run through August 9.
The show carries the theme "Eye of the Future", highlighting electric vehicles, advanced safety systems, smarter driving technology, and more sustainable mobility. The first day is being held as VIP Day, with public access starting at 2 p.m. Tickets are Rp250,000 online and Rp300,000 at the venue. Regular tickets cost Rp50,000 on weekdays and Rp100,000 on weekends.
There's plenty to watch this year. Mazda introduced three new models just before the public opening, including the electric Mazda 6e. Honda also unveiled its small Super-ONE EV, with only 100 units allocated for Indonesia in 2026.
The show also comes as Indonesia debates the next phase of its EV policy. On July 30, Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang said government incentives would prioritize national-brand EVs, although the government has not yet clearly defined which manufacturers would qualify.
