See moreThe National Police together with investigators from the Attorney General's Office and PT Pegadaian conducted tests on 74 kilograms of gold bullion confiscated as evidence in the alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) case that ensnared the former Jampidsus Attorney General, Febrie Adriansyah.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said the test was carried out by a joint investigation team with investigators from the Attorney General's Office and PT Pegadaian on 74 gold pieces or the equivalent of 74 kilograms.
Head of DepOp G-Lab PT Pegadaian Rubika Giovani Malewa explained that a technical inspection was carried out to ensure the authenticity and weight of each gold piece, which was estimated to weigh around 1 kilogram per piece.
Apart from gold, investigators will also test evidence in the form of United States dollars, Singapore dollars and rupiah by involving the FBI, the United States Embassy, the Singapore Embassy and Bank Indonesia.
